We won’t kale your vibe.

We have a confession: our dietitians love candy, beer, french fries, fancy lattes, and pizza.

While we love nutrition, we don’t subscribe to the idea that you can’t eat foods you love or that fueling your body well can’t be enjoyable.

Our personalized approach to healthy living takes into account your goals, concerns, lifestyle, and food preferences to build a plan that is sustainable and enjoyable, while also addressing your needs.

If you struggle with high cholesterol, kidney disease, pre-diabetes, diabetes, need to lose or gain weight, or are looking to build your nutrition education for general healthy living, our dietitians are ready to come alongside you to help you find a balanced approach that helps you reach your goals without making you miserable.

Lynn Meeboer, MS, RD, LD

Registered Dietitian

Hi, I’m Lynn. I pivoted from a career in business to dietetics when I moved to Kansas City in 2016. After having my daughters, I developed a personal interest in helping other women through the pregnancy lifecycle – pregnancy, lactation, and postpartum – as well as helping to cultivate healthy relationships with food in children. My education and experience have helped me overcome my own health struggles, as well as my daughter’s issues with poor weight gain and digestive issues. I know first-hand the impact diet can have on health, and I’m excited that now I get to help others optimize their health through nutrition! I am passionate about promoting holistic health and healing alongside a balanced and healthy relationship with food.

Erica Tangeman RD, LD, CPT

Registered Dietitian, Certified Personal Trainer

Hi, I’m Erica. I have a confession: I am a Real Housewives fanatic. I’m also a huge fan of creating new recipes and using nutrition to help fuel bodies well. I grew up in a small town and played almost every sport I could. During that time, I began to research how nutrition could help improve my athletic performance. During this time, I began struggling with several GI symptoms, which continued for over 10 years, with no help from the conventional side of healthcare. In college I began to learn about functional medicine and personalized nutrition. I was able to get to the root of my GI issues, finding ways to heal my gut with nutrition and functional medicine. Now, with my education and experience, I am able to help others who are struggling with the same issues find solutions when other medical paths don’t pan out.

Caylee Johnson, MS, RDN, LD, RYT

Registered Dietitian, Certified Clinical Transplant Dietitian

Hi, I’m Caylee. I live in the Kansas City area with my husband, young children, and our pug Lavender Rue. I played soccer in college and I also love music and yoga. I play both piano and flute. I also completed my Yoga Teach Training in 2020. I’ve been interested in how our bodies use food for fuel since high school. I entered college with the intention of becoming a nurse, but then I learned I could get a degree in nutrition, and the rest is history. Since then I have loved learning about how all food can find a place in our lifestyle. Food isn’t just fuel, it’s medicine, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring or gross. Food can bring people together and spice up our lives! My goal is to help my clients use food to heal their bodies while still enjoying what they eat.

Claudia Ferri, MS, RD, LD

Registered Dietitian

¡Hola! Ciao! My name is Claudia. I was born in Venezuela and raised there by my parents who are Italian immigrants. I met my (Italian) husband while living in Florida, which made my parents very proud. Most recently, I lived in Denver before we relocated to Kansas City.

Thanks to my Italian roots, my parents were always very attentive to the quality and source of foods we had. I built on that foundation during my experience as a competitive swimmer, where I became interested in the connection between nutrition and athletic performance.

As a practicing Registered Dietitian, I have become passionate about the importance and pivotal role that our gut plays on our metabolism, including mental health, hormones, and the immune system. For the last 10 years, I channeled that passion into my work as an oncology dietitian.

I believe in taking a tailored approach to nutrition counseling, centered around each individual, so we can work together to restore their optimal health.

Specialities

Sidney Smith, RDN, LDN

Registered Dietitian

Hi, I’m Sidney. When I’m not working, you can find me playing pickle ball, watching my dad’s band play, or hanging out with my dog Newman and my niece Frankie.

I’ve been a dietitian for nearly a decade, and I believe food should never be something you’re afraid of, ashamed by, or feel guilty about. I’m passionate about helping people break free from diet mentality and build a healthy relationship with food. I help with education around balanced eating, learning how to listen to your body, and figuring out what food actually works for you. Because yes, food is fuel, but it can also be flavorful, fun, and something you genuinely look forward to.

Audrey Ewert, MS, RDN, LDN

Registered Dietitian

Hey, I’m Audrey. I grew up in a small town, so I really love exploring all that Kansas City offers, especially for food and entertainment. I’m a big fan of music and dance. I enjoy the KC Symphony’s Happy Hour in the fall and Sound Bite Fridays in Lenexa in the summer. If I hadn’t become a dietitian, I would have been a ballerina. I became interested in nutrition after feeling compelled to take greater ownership of my health during some challenging health experiences.

I became fascinated by the science of the gut and the profound impact food has on every system in the body. My fascination became a passion that I built my career around. Now, I use my education and experience to help clients build sustainable nutrition habits so they can experience healing, energy, and long-term wellness.
