If I want to start working with you, how much can I expect to pay?

Cost varies depending on service, but for an initial consultation you can expect to pay $100-150.

What do I get for that $100-150?

The initial appointment is 100% personalized to the needs of the client. In general, we will cover your health history, your diet and lifestyle preferences, and I will use an individualized approach to develop a nutritional plan that works for you. Not sure if my services are a good fit for you? Contact me to find out.

How much do follow up consultations cost?

Cost varies depending on package availability and services needed but follow ups usually cost between $50 and $75.

Do you offer discounts for couples or families?

Yes, contact me to find out couples and group discount rates.

How long will our consultation last?

I believe that in order to really help my clients I have to get to know them. Therefore, I schedule 60 minutes for an initial consultation, and usually 45-60 minutes for follow up consultations.

Where will we meet?

I see patients out of two office locations in Overland Park, one near 91st and Metcalf and one near 156th and Metcalf.

Do you offer the ability to meet virtually?

Yes, I prefer our initial appointment to be in-person, if possible, and switch to virtual (phone, or video conferencing) for our follow ups, but I will consider virtual initial appointments on a case-by-case basis.

Do you offer any other services?

Yes, among my servings offered are:

  • Group nutrition presentations

Do you take my health insurance?

I am an in-network provider with several insurances. I recommend you call you insurance provider and ask the below questions before scheduling an appointment to see what cost you will be responsible for paying. Payment is due at time of service.

To verify your insurance benefits for nutrition counseling, please call the number on the back of your insurance card.

  • Do I have benefits for nutritional counseling, CPT codes 97802 & 97803?

  • Do I have any nutrition counseling benefits covered under the preventative care portion of my plan?

  • Is a doctor’s referral required?

  • Is there a limit on the number of visits I am allowed?

  • Are there any restricted diagnoses?

  • Do I have a deductible to meet before insurance pays?

  • Do I have a co-pay or co-insurance?

  • Is Kansas City Dietitian, LLC (NPI# 1417388133), a covered provider under my plan? If not, what are my out-of network nutrition benefits?

Please understand that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. I do not regularly check benefits for clients so it is your responsibility to know what your plan covers and what your portion of the cost is.

What forms of payments do you accept?

I accept all forms of payment (Cash, Check, Credit Card)

Will you give me a meal plan?

Maybe, all of my practice is 100% personalized. Some individuals succeed with loose guidelines and recommendations while others need a little more guidance, I use my experience, clinical judgment and your input to make recommendations to help you reach your goals.

Why would I work with you? What makes you unique?
